2026 New Southbound Policy Elite Study Program

Program Information:

Eligibility:

  • Sophomore-level students and above (Master’s students are also eligible)
  • Students interested in pursuing a full semester of agricultural courses + Chinese at NPUST

Academic Requirements:
Participants are required to complete:

  1. At least 12 credits in the agricultural field
  2. Chinese language courses, scheduled as follows:
    • Monday & Friday: 08:10–12:00
    • Wednesday: 09:10–12:00 (18 weeks)
    • Monday & Thursday evenings: 19:00–20:50 (9 weeks)

Program Benefits:
NPUST will provide selected students with:

  1. Round-trip economy class airfare (up to NTD 20,000)
  2. Full tuition waiver (including Chinese language courses)
  3. Monthly scholarship of NTD 8,000 (NTD 4,000 for September and January respectively)
  4. On-campus student dormitory accommodation
  5. Medical insurance coverage
  6. Monthly off-campus visits organized by our Office of International Affairs
